## Core loop

1. Prepare: choose a mission family, risk level and loadout.
2. Generate: a seed builds and validates the map (routes, cover, patrols, extraction).
3. Infiltrate: scout and pick an approach.
4. Engage: complete the primary objective and up to two optional objectives.
5. Extract: reach the evac zone.
6. Upgrade: spend credits, level weapon mastery, unlock gear, deploy again.

## Systems

- AI Level Generator: builds a mission graph, area graph, module placement and navigation, then validates reachability, spawn safety and completability before play.
- Combat Director: adjusts enemy count, composition and pressure to the player, without unfair spawns.
- Event Director: alarms, reinforcements, side entries, comms blackouts, generator failures, alternate extraction.
